Matrox is a graphics device manufacturer specializing in marketing of various kinds, among them also appear adapters multi-monitor, that have as their main prerogative the ability to support multiple screens. This happens also for the model, called G550, which also uses the type of AGP slot to liaise with a system motherboard. The Matrox G550 graphics memory available is only 32 MB. Surely this is a fairly restrictive in certain areas, although probably the nature and purpose of the device's main focus is not on this kind of yardstick. Indeed, while graphics cards very traditional link provided on the potential of system memory, so even on the same amount that can be made available to the user, Matrox G550 is a device whose main purpose is to communicate with many monitors at once ; certain resources in the past because a second fiddle to this primary purpose. In its technical analysis of the manufacturer Matrox G550 model does not dwell on the description of the graphics processor installed, or add details about the operating speed of the latter, or the clock rate due to memory.
There are two main areas in which they express the full potential of connecting the new Matrox G550 graphics card. The first concerns the encoding of digital video signal on a monitor as the PC, while the other is about the possible link of this product with TV screens. By analyzing the latter we can see the presence of a TV-out, even if the producer does not indicate whether this is compatible with the specifications of high definition. Do not miss the S-Video and compatibility for the two systems most commonly used expression-level Video, or NTSC and PAL. Instead, with regard to the connections that make possible the dialogue between the graphics card and your PC, please note the presence of the canonical DVI to encode the signal in digital form in the more usual standard, called Digital Video Interface. There were no other forms of connection.
