    Default Alter Display answers by Registry

    I have look that many things occur by registry editor. So a thought arrived in mind that can i alter the resolution by registry editor..???? Is it potential to do such thing??? If Yes how is it potential????

    Go to the registry editor & search the following :
    HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG -> System -> CurrentControlSet -> Control -> Video. There would be a random string of characters that should be the example of video card in your system constitutes. On what there is to "click, 0000". You can then alter the values for Default Circumstances. XResolution and Default Settings.YResolution.

    Here can be more than one place. Havoc with the registration could answer in system instability. What are you needing to do? There might be other ways. Windows HELP tells alters to display resolution affect entire users functioning with the computer.

    This is addressed in Windows XP, but there is no guarantee. If you are unsure about changing registration records. DON 'T DO! Neither one nor the other I responsible for entire computers separated caused through you change your settings.

    Fine my mian monitor went out so just I am utilizing a littler one but my video card maintains telling wrong answer how do i set this so that i can utilize my video card again recently i have to utilize on board graphics and omg i can not do anything.
