NVIDIA is likely to promote their new GeForce GTS 250 graphics chips at the forthcoming CeBIT annual trade show starting from 3 March in the city of Hannover, Germany. The G92 series graphics chip, the GTS 250 is supposed to be the re-branded version of NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ graphics card.
NVIDIA had declared that GeForce 9800 GTX+ being upgraded from 9800 GTX on 11 July 2008 will contend against ATI Radeon HD 4850 Graphic cards the new GeForce GTS 250 will have the similar G92b GPU processor, PCB, thermal solution, and memory as in GeForce 9800 GTX+. The only new feature being added to GTS 250 is VBIOS which means the card has separate video BIOS of it own.
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ have the company's first 55nm process GPU G92b. Similar to 9800 GTX+, the re-branded version of GeForce GTS 250 will have a graphics core clocked at 738MHz, pixels shader and the processors will clocked at 1836MHz, The GDDR3 memory will clocked at 1100MHz. but, GTS 250 will have a shorter PCB and the graphic card won't support the triple-SLI GPU configuration. The card was to be available worldwide by post of march 10.
