The upgrade would purely depend upon the motherboard model installed in the computer. Open the cabinet or check the manual of your machine and you should find the chipset and model number of the motherboard. Else, you could punch in the model number of the computer on the HP website and find out the details. Using this model number, you can search online to find out the specifications of the chipset and know the type of graphics card and the maximum memory amount it can support. If the motherboard has a PCle slot, you can buy a graphics card to increase the performance of your computer. Decide on a budget and then choose the graphics card. Contact your nearest computer dealer to help you out with prices and availability. You would also have to check the type of RAM required, which might not be easily available.
