NEC's MultiSync 2690WUXi sports a smooth satin-like finish and is a relief from the other piano-glossy finished panels. It's black in colour and the build looks decidedly industry grade, with very rugged construction of the stand that incorporates a tilt, swivel and a portrait mode - top-notch build quality. For its size, the bezel is incredibly thin and the menu system and buttons very well laid out with a helpful on-screen indication of the menu buttons in case you're groping in the dark. This display has a host of options for changing colour gamut, saturation, hue and whiteness level; also on board is an option for enabling and disabling HDCP.
