    Question HELP! Native Resolution Issues

Bought a new widescreen monitor for my Optiplex 210L. Monitor is a Dell E2010Ht (Analog). Native Resolution is 1600 x 900 which is what I want ot choose. (we have the same monitor on another computer (newer) and it works and looks great at that setting) Optiplex has an Intel 82915G/GV/910GL chipset with the most current driver ialmrnt5.dll Version 6.14.0010.4543. According to Intel specs this chipset has a max resolution of 2048 x 1536 at 85ghz. I want to set the resolution to 1600 x 900 but the max that I am able to choose in display settings is 1280 x 768, (everything looks VERY stretched and distorted at this setting). I have looked everywhere to find out what the issue is and can't figure it out. I am running xp pro. Please let me know if there is anything additional that is needed to figure out this issue. THANK YOU!!!!!!! My eyes will thank you if I can finally see images that aren't stretched!

I'm also interested in knowing if there's any solution to this issue. I'm on a 82915G chipset too and recently adquired an Acer P205H with a native res of 1600x900.

    Thanks in advance
