Default Black screen with HP Pavilion dv2

My laptop HP Pavilion dv2 starts without showing any image on screen. Fan making usual noise, temperature looks steady, but when turn off and reboot, indicator (CAPS LOCK) key is static and I do not know what to do as there is no CD / DVD. There are only two USB ports and card reader. So how to solve this problem.

    1) If it does not have CD and DVD ROM then you could try USB DVD ROM or of probable then grasp bootable flash drive and attempt to reinstall OS. This is method to solve your problem.

    2) Change battery and ensure connection points have come out.

    • Check adapter to confirm that it is not injured, and then check all plugs are connected.

    • Decide if power light on adapter is on to ensure that PC gets DC power from wall outlet.

    • If PC works well on AC power, charge battery for thirty minutes to hour and then reboot PC.

    3) Before trying to solve particular error signal lights or sound, remove chance that one of peripherals is causing problem.

Detaching exterior devices can solve startup problem / denial to boot.

    • Detach any USB, PC card, Firewire any machine and tools like printer, camera, keyboard, and mouse. Also recommended to take out any CD or DVD optical drive and any support being in card reader if PC is ready.

    • Reboot PC. If PC reboots after detaching external device, problem is linked to that device. Change faulty device.

    • If PC starts usually and Windows desktop shows no further action is necessary.
