Thread: ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 won't boot

When I start PC, it starts but does not give beep which generally gives after no display on monitor. I began to remove cards and ram individually and tried resetting all parts on asus p6t deluxe v2 motherboard but no repair happens. So please help me to solve this problem.

It thinks motherboard is bad. So try with different power supply and check all power supply cables attached. Graphics card may need additional power and also your motherboard.

Firstly, is it correct power supply for motherboard? Then reset BIOS means detach power supply to motherboard, taking out small back-up battery and moving jumper for some seconds. Then, try the new RAM. If that doesn’t work then there is power supply problem.

If there is any overclocked hardware, revert them to default speeds. Also try to separate power from PC about 20 seconds or extra. Connect PC again and PC must start normally.

Replace the CMOS battery. For some reason the P6T Deluxe V2 does not have any error beeps or screen message during POST if the CMOS batery dies. Motherboard just seems dead. Replace with a fresh one and try again. It worked for me.
