Thread: APPLE 30" DISPLAY-WHAT license ATI.

I have g5 power Mac, which is 4 years old now and lately upgraded monitor to a 30 apple display. It works and images come up however, picture is not HD. after contacting apple they think that it is perhaps because I want to upgrade graphics card. Does it need to be HD graphics card? Does anybody know what will be compatible with this system as it isn't one of new g5 power Macs but I consider it should be more than capable to handle HD! Please help me to solve this problem.

The 30 Apple display should need dual DVI connector to completely support its resolution. You want to upgrade to graphics card that has dual-DVI connectors.

I think the mid range cards onwards would maintain dual DVI.
