Thread: hd radeon 5870 issue

I have 3 1920x1200 asus plug and play monitors attached to my hd radeon 5870. I purchased another 5870. I like eyefinity because I can get the preferred resolution I want with all three of my monitors. And my friend tells me crossfire can really make things shine. I cannot seem to obtain crossfire to work with eyefinity. If you are having any suggestions then reply me. It can helpful to me.

The difference between Crossfire & CrossfireX is the lots of GPUs supported. The new Crossfire permitted the use of 2 GPUs and CrossfireX added support for up to 4 GPUs.

Have you uninstalled, and after that installed the ATI drivers after installing the second card?
