Thread: Acer Aspire blank screen HELP!!

Hi All,
Acer 5570Z. Vista Home Premium. I was doing a Restore last night and I believe there was a brief power outage as the Restore never over. After three hours I turned the thing off figuring it would go to upturn in the morning. Not so.

A lot of Acer models never came with a recovery CD. They have a concealed divider named PQSERVICE and that holds the Vista Recovery. You hold down Alt-F10 and it will boot to the hidden partition. I have never used it, so I do not know how it works and I don't desire to try until I know accurately what it does.

I have a USB enclosure for the 2-1/2" SATA II drive so I can get the data off OK, but I want to tire out all of the revival alternative first.

Most almost certainly it’s a hardware connected graphic corruption.
What your model and make of the video card?
Reinstalling the drivers may help you.
