Thread: Screen resolution

I am having Windows XP operating system installed on my computer. How to set screen custom resolution while it is not listed in graphic properties? Anybody knows how to set screen custom resolution. If you are having any suggestions then reply me. It can helpful to me.

Go to start >> "Control Panel” >> click on "Nvidia Control Panel" >> "Add Resolutions..." >> "Create Custom Resolution..."

I have an Nvidia and running windows vista and it works for me.

Follow the steps given below:-

• First download MultiRes software and install it on your computer. This is quick resolution changer that can modify the resolution setting in one click

• In this zip file you find three resolution settings at color depth 32. Edit them in notepad for the setting you would like.

• Copy/extract the settings file wanted to the startup folder of the user

• Go to C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

• change the username with the windows user name you would like and paste the exact settings file
