Thread: Laptop screen turns black

In my HP Pavilion dv4-1400 laptop I installed XP SP2. From last 2-3 days my laptop Screen turns into black when I am using 3D cad program for Google, power light is on but HDD activity is not performed and fan doesn't on. I can’t figure out why I am facing such problems and hence need your help in solving the issue. Please suggest some solutions.

I think 3D program problem, mean there is problem graphics card. Sometime it is got problem when specification of graphics not enough.

Try connecting it to external monitor to see whether it shows picture or not. If it is not showing picture then some part of hardware is dead. So change it and this will help you to solving the issue.

It had been arose for some caused like If The 3dx analysis had been so hard to stuff the graphic card. So that The graphic card would be not display the picture as well. I have also noticed that Some 3d program had been harm the graphic card as far. So I want to say that You will check it very well.
