Thread: Disruption on screen

Last night suddenly a black vertical interference line appears on the left side of my monitor screen. It differs in width from half an inch wide to nearly the entire damn screen. I tried lots of ways but nothing moves it. I am not able to fix that, if you are having any idea for that, and then please give me details about it. Thank you in advance.

When you move your mouse to it, does it go over or under? If you drag your mouse to it, and your pointer suddenly goes then you have a issue with your monitor. If it goes over, it could be a software error, possibly graphics card.

If the mouse pointer goes under it then it is more than likely a set of dead pixels on the monitor. Unfortunately there is no cheap method fix this? If you are using a TFT screen.

the data cable of monitor may be loose or any pin may be damaged. check them
