I accept this was for the 64bit windows 7 Ultimate there. applicant this will as well work on the 32bit versions .
I'm running x86 but the problem would be the similar for x64 as well. I don't suspect most people would run into the problem. But some where along the way of keeping my MP3's on a separate partition and installing Windows7 I missed the index assign on many files. It may have even occurred when I was running windows Vista.
Did you recognize there a 64bit WMP and the 32bit seen on the 64bit windows 7? The default icon you see on the task bar how is for the 32bit edition found in the C:Program Files Windows Media Player folder.
