Yes, download new graphic card display drivers from the official nvidia website. If you can get into the settings then change them as it could also be something with the actual game settings itself. Also, you mention unresolved X message. Make sure you have the latest DirectX graphic enhancer installed. If this doesn't resolve the problem a full quote of the message would be nice.
Hi out there, i have just bought a new computer, a Quad job, with a 8800 Nvidia graphic card. When i install Call of Duty 4 and try to play it i keep getting an unresolved X message. So the game will not play. I have downloaded all up dates for the computer and game, so ?? Never had this problem with my Pentiuim 4, with a 6200 Nvidia graphic card. Help please .
If you have updated your graphics drivers and it still does not work , Have you tried lowering texture quality ingame? It's worth a try
it has vista and 1 gig of ram probably too do what the others people said first but unless you have 2 or more gigs of ram your gonna be disappointed in it's performance.
