Default Why my PC cannot boot? When i start my PC, the fans are ON but...?

I can't hear my PC booting *beeb* sound.. and the monitor is black, it says no signal input as if the PC is swithch off. think it cannot boot. Is it the graphic card problem? Or is it my motherboard? or power supply? Once I changed my power supply before. but that time is totally no power. This time my fans are ON. I suspect cannot boot or mornitor cannot get signal.Pls help me, thanks so much..

Could be any of those things. Easy fix: take it to a shop.If you are some what familiar with how to reset cards in the computer then I suggest the followingif you recently installed new item: printer, Hard Drive, CD-Rom, etc, remove it). Unplug everything but the monitor from the back of the tower and see if it boots up. If not, unplug monitor and pull video card. See if it POSTS (beeps). If it does try putting the card back in. If it beeps with it out but not in- try in another slot if possible, if not probably the video card.If it does not beep, continue to remove cards (sound, network, etc). Checking after each one.If all cards are removed and nothing, unplug the drives (Hard Drive, CD Rom, Floppy) from the motherboard. Finally if this does not work, remove the memory. If you still are not getting anything, it is probably the motherboard.

Try this ~~~~~`Remove the power cord /also the monitor cord --- or just pull the plug on both.Take the cover off the computer ----Lay it down on it's side ----discharge any 'static electricity' build-up in your hands --- touch a ground with your bare hands for a moment.Find the CPU fan -----Best to take the screws out and take the fan out from the cooling tower.Using a small brush and a "can of computer air"--- clean the tower and the fan.Put it all back together afterwards and turn it on.If it still does not show up on the monitor ---- then it might be the vid card -- cable/bent connection pins --- monitor itself bad-- mobo.Try another vid card / cable. +++Spock+++
