My cup is phenom II 555, graphic card is HD 5770, and the motherboard is M4A88T-M 880G ASUS.Unfortunately I surround an old screen (not lcd which forces me to use some convertor, I am setting up on buying a new screen... I am with xp sp3. I installed the driver that came with the card and the graphic is really bad, instead of trees I see green leaf-y pluses sort of object and lots a holes in the 3d. I tried updating the driver but it collapsed my graphics. Apparently I chose the incorrect driver to install.... I am afraid my monitor is not well-matched with the card. (before installing a new driver should I remove the prev 1?, just a side question) And when I gave me a driver for win 7 (which I am getting tomorrow). Please, if you happen to recognize of the latest driver let me know, is it really a card for win7+lcd screen, or can it be used on xp with old screen?. 1 more thing, my computer sees the installed card as 5700 series, though on the box it says 5770 series (the driver I tried to install which collapsed all the graphic settings was HD series)
