    Default 360x768 HDMI query

    Hello guys,
I am having ASUS G60VX. I am getting a nice res of 1360x768 on my Sanyo 720p HDTV 24 Inch. I am need to use my HDMI to punch in as the fact is AMAZING, much easy on the eyes to me! The problem is it sets the res by default to 1280x720, half of my screen is very cut off at this res because of HDTV's native res of 1360x768, I can arrange a custom res of 1360x768 and it is nice. It does not remain the test on the nvidia control panel is a success, but quickly i click place it goes right back to 1280x720. Any suggestion as to keep the resolution at 1280x720?

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 2.13 GHZ
    GPU: GeForce GTX260M 1GB GDDR3
    RAM: 4GB DDR2
    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium.

    Thanks!

    Default

When you enable a custom resolution and then try to test it in Nvidia control panel it every time goes back to the initial resolution you had it arranged at earlier to the test. If it goes through the test though it will include that resolution into the resolution list normally at the apex.

If your TV's old resolution is 1360x768 then that should be the default setting in Windows too. Did you tried to right click on your desktop and choose properties or Screen Resolution. Alter the resolution from there rather than of the nVidia control panel and check if that's a default option?
