Wink Foxconn G33M-S and Elitegroup G33T-M2

Many readers will recall issue Detonator drivers for graphics cards production NVIDIA. This title is not exactly defines operation of computer iron. Because what would have been a powerful explosive, and how much it would have been, always need a fuse (ie detonator), which will force her "work". Also, computers and c: whatever has not been a strong card, video card and stuff, they always need software that fully realizes the potential of iron.

New Intel graphics drivers are thus detonator, which exploded market integrated graphics solutions. The new software is designed for motherboards at 3 - series chipsets (ie G31, G33 and G35, Q33 and Q35). Today, we learn about the two such fee, production companies and Foxconn Elitegroup. The first is called Foxconn G33M-S, and focuses on more demanding users. The second model (ECS G33T-M2) weaker, but it should be markedly cheaper.

I bought a new G33-M2 v1.0 mobo and it does not have any IEEE 1394A header on the board, even though it has the layout lists the firewire location on the mother board.

Also, there are 6 SATA connections of the motherboard, of which only 4 are connected with headers.

Has anyone tried soldering in a header for firewire and/or the 2 additional SATA ports? Does that work or would these ports still be diabled in the firmware?

    Thanks in advance.
