Gigabyte GV-NX- 96T512HP Graphic Card

GIGABYTE'S GV-NX96T512HP POWERED by Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT GPU is one of the GPUs with a 512MB GDDR3 memory and 256-bit memory interface. The 9600GT comes with ultra-thin layer fins as a heat conductor with nodes of copper to add more cooling points on the heat pipes. The heat transfer from the heat pipes to the fins is quite amazing but takes time to cool down.

The dual integrated 400MHz RAMDACs for analog display resolutions up to and including 2048xl536 at 75Hz. The best part of the GPU is that we use a multiple screen (two screens) in our test to check whether both the screen are supported in continuation. Well it does perfectly well. All you need to take care is that both the display unit needs to have the same setting. The two dual-link DVI outputs for digital fiat panel display resolutions up to 2560xl600.

We have done lots of experiments with it. A set of games was run with a test-bed consisting of Phenom Tri-core @ 2.6GHz, Kingston HyperX DDR2 RAM @ 800MHZ, Seagate nOOrpm 250GB HDD, Tagan 800W power supply. (The tri cote has been step down to a dual core) However in our test it scored 10625 on 3D Mark 06. As for our gaming test we ran Crysis (4X AA) at 1280x1024 screen resolutions, it provided a good frame rate at 27fps. On the Unreal.

Tournament 3 benchmark, it scores a 95fps, Company of heroes it scores 128fps and 85fps in FEAR After long hours of playing various games, we finally concluded that this is one of the best GPU and you can expect a lot more from this vendor. However the NX96T512HP was a passive cooling which means it does not have any fan for cooling, which makes it a completely silent, but on the other hand its not a good choice for those cabinet with weak cooling system, as it heats up pretty fast.

Well another interesting thing we notice is that the 2D and 3D have a separate clock. When running a 2D graphics applications the clock speed comes down and when the 3D graphics are loaded the original clock speed is restored. Anyway the overall performance and looks definitely capture one's attention.
