It performs well in bench-marks, with a read speed average of about 25 MBps and write speed average of 14 MBps. The access time average is 2.7 ms with 7.5 percent CPU utilization. While writing large files (over 1 GB in Size) to the flash drive results in the same speed as seen in the benchmarks, the speed of writing multiple small files declines to about 6 MBps as expected. The Voyager GT does not break any speed records but is much faster than the cheap USB flash drives that currently flood the market.
