It performs well in bench-marks, with a read speed average of about 25 MBps and write speed average of 14 MBps. The access time average is 2.7 ms with 7.5 percent CPU utilization. To find how it performs in real world usage, we transferred files to and from the flash drive. While writing large files (over 1 GB in Size) to the flash drive results in the same speed as seen in the benchmarks, the speed of writing multiple small files declines to about 6 MBps as expected. Real-world read enough for basic office tasks, but movies and games aren't much fun. The viewing angles are the lowest we've ever seen, at 130 and 100 degrees respectively, but the speeds remained at 23.4 MBps for both large and small files, when files were copied from the flash drive to a fast hard disk drive.

The Voyager GT does not break any speed records but is much faster than the cheap USB flash drives that currently flood the market. If you need to transfer large files on a regular basis, it is more than worth it since you can fill up 16 GB on the Voyager GT within 18 minutes, compared to over an hour for normal flash drives.
