Default Problem with external hard drive

Well, I try to turn it on and it seems but a start. I tried removing the wires and putting them on again and the same. What could be?

Therefore would need to know any more datillo xD

    - Type of external had (2.5 "or 3.5" S-ATA or IDE)
    - What is data to disk and click within the system, either as principal
    - Your computer can use USB 2.0 or 1.1 only allows?
    - At the cash portion of the output is a USB to connect to a socket? If so you've tried connecting it?
    - Otherwise, you've tried with a USB cable twice (i.e., that allows to connect 2 USB at the same time), the external had need enough energy and there are occasions in which a single USB port (especially if one is hub rather than directly on the back of the motherboard) are not fed properly.

It is an external hard drive, specifically for a Lacier 500GB. My computer allows USB 2.0. It's all connected, if the hard drive took 2 years and now it seems that no longer responds. I do not know if the light had to be at Christmas veer and was red but it worked and now is red but does not finish booting. Rioja proved the USB cable but it would be done by the front and if it is not.

Ok, that's another thingAs I have understood that red light means you have a hardware problem in the device (very possibly the hard drive but do not rule out the controller), because it has the effect that everything is going well and seems slower to slope.

The first thing I always suggest in these cases, slave and the data you have on that disc (if you have something important we) do that once a test ride in the box another disc to see if it works correctly.

Additionally, you can pass a test disc to verify that this walk, although I say that according to the specifications of Lacy red LED that indicates possible hardware failure

Is that the problem is that takes so long to load and off me in despair. The last time I used it was with red light but was charged immediately. Would expect to be charged late 5000 and though a thousand years? The truth is that I'm a bit desperate. And this is happening? Problems that may have the hardware Thanks for helping me.

When I say hardware problems, I mean basically two options:

    a) The internal hard drive of your box (which is nothing more than that, a normal hard drive with a box that connects to your computer) is damaged, it can be a blow opr, a rise of tension, use, or possibly which indicates that it directly connects and disconnects, causing a cut that supply at once and is not very good for the maintenance of these devices ...

    b) Problems of the controller box (an internal insert that allows the connection), this option would be the worst case, because if you ruin this board there is no solution (at least you do not have one) and should lead to repair.

As you said so to prove to disassemble the box (usually with normal screws) sasses the hard disk that is pushers and another to check if the hard drive failure or not ...

If the box is in warranty I do not complicate and lead me to the mirasen, but (I guess will not stay, so consult us) because it is very possible that you touch or replace your internal hard drive or the enclosure directly ... primmer good try but what I told you to replace the hard disk in the box to be discarded things.

Not if we can do that because it is a Lacier hard drive that has no screws box is made by Porsche that is gray. Anyway it off and turn it on to gross rioja rioja now when I took, because the other times that I turned and ran toward normal with rioja remove security. I have done however is to unplug the power. Quizzes well as the computer is hot, one can that be? He told me that my brother can be a mechanic, you think? The truth is that not all can retrieve movies and all I have gotten me there are seven things followed, I am in despair. I never had done any of this. When I take you to my house for a few days the light was red but gave no importance. Nor am I all day on, if that if the flow is set, and I've removed just in case.
