    Default As repair disks dead

Hi, this is my first post although I have been laughing like a year: smile: and lighting: yeah: with your comments.

I am writing to ask if anyone knows how to retrieve information from a Maxtor 40 gb that in the last ... is turned on and the bios that does not recognize it because something was stuck in it.

Is there someone or something you can do (disarm or something) to pass the boot and the bios recognizes the thing to reach support?

Thanks in advance for any comments that might help me.

    Hello.

If the logic board is bad it could be replaced with a disc of the same.

    Hi.

Think the board could be causing the problem, "because it appears to be a mechanical problem as it has a crack at the moment of crack starting.

    Hello.

If you have unusual noises in the mechanism, it is because the HDD fried.

    Hello.

May be problems with logic or even the motherboard ... crack but the crack will end up killing the hard drive.

    Hi.

Deals with another logic board testing as this could be the main problem.
