The standard version has two SATA, SATA I and SATA II, characterized by exchange rate (1.5 GB / s and 3.0 GB / s, respectively) and a set of commands. They are consistent from top to bottom, i.e. controllers, and SATA II drives can operate at SATA I. But if the SATA II controller goes into a slow mode automatically, the disk that you want to specify. Therefore, if the SATA II drive is not recognized by the controller to SATA I, then put the jumper on the drive, sending it to the SATA I (it is usually marked with 1.5 GB / s and are already installed when released from the factory).

Ur a great memory, but the trouble: long load the OS (Windows XP SP3), even when playing music from time to time the CPU is fully loaded, many of the processes "eat" and the omission of System, it does not talk about movies, work in 3d applications .. . What it could be? This feeling that I bought the thing very sluggish. Maybe there are some tests and it is hard to return under warranty?

That apparently depends on overall system performance and the fact that the HDD is connected via SATA I.... and of course to boot the system to do the settings ... a lot of excess can be loaded...

Problem occurs is when accessing hard. Yet are viewing sites, flash applications, and (do not need a railway), all good, but when you turn on the audio, video, torrent for downloading, copying, downloading of games the system is loaded. was hard on Seagate 250 GB, applications use the same, but the problem was not, I feel included music torrent download and includes a strategy for yourself.
    Whether it is BP?
