Default Seagate Barracuda 7200 hard drive

Do not Give, model 1.5 Tb Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 <ST31500341AS> with Part Number is available now in existence?

You can read that it rejected a series of 9JU138-300, but the topic states that rejected the entire shipment were sent to the manufacturer. And Do you have any statistics on the appearance of poor clusters and the disk of the new party (if the party a new course ) to see if they have the same problems in this regard, as in the defective?

    Thanks in advance!

Any HDD to buy with your logic is dangerous - he can break it, just has not yet been invented.

So, for you, the following algorithm of actions (provided that you buy a product in our Moscow store for cash to a private person) - write, pay, receive from the warehouse, have a look at it, if you do not like it at some numbers , arrange the return and get money back. No more than a simple sequence of actions, I offer you can not.

PS I recall that on the HDD version of firmware, and processors of stepping at our warehouses are not sorted.

This original, summarize my misgivings about this particular hard with lots of criticism and all hdd!

It is, incidentally, is polite. By the way, the screws Seagate previous series are simply incredible reliability, and work with me for years without a single relocated sector.

Well, okay, thanks for clarifying the issue.

If the guarantee to get rid of him as soon as possible. 11 barracuda are not residents in any case, even when a new firmware. I have 4 months died 3 on 11 Barracuda 750 GB, 1 and 1.5 terabytes. ST31000340AS managed and pull from it the information he died.
