    Default SATA power cables

Drew attention to the fact that the power supply goes out of 5 wires on the power connector SATA, although the usual adapters contain 4 contacts. The question why? In the salons of the city puts consultants in stupefaction.

It is felt that this cached, or energy conservation. I find it interesting that 5-zapitav wire that I receive??

Originally, it was assumed that there also should be 3.3V, but so far no one in the nature of the existing structure, the supply of such connectors are not required and there is no reason to believe that the situation will change in the foreseeable future.
