    Default External HDD problems

    I bought yesterday hdd Western Digital RE3 WD502ABYS and the case of the Tsunami Ultimate 3500. I want to connect to your laptop Dell 1501 with the WinXP SP2 (automatic updates are disabled). When copying to a new screw speed for the first time of a normal - about 15 MB / s but after a couple of seconds drops to 300kb / s. Tried to copy in Windows Explorer and Total Commander. How to search the root of the problem?

    Usually in the case. Bring in the SC let check.
