    Default WD5000AAKS hard drive

    Hello.

The new WD5000AAKS (Western Digital 500 GB/16Mb) each time the computer produces similar and then starts to spin pancakes.

It is normal or is it a failure?

The sound recorded by the microphone, and packed in RAR archives. That sounds in the first half-second - just after the sound button the PC.

Sound bad, but apparently, so the engine starts.

    A RAPTOR like always.

It seems that happening somewhere in the power supply.

No - that's for sure the hard drive itself produces a sound. Just at the last recording, it might be a bit more pronounced - I have it a little quieter but the same.

So this is a failure, or both?
