To delete a partition or logical drive:

1. In the Disk Management option window, the user have to only right-click on the partition of the drive or else any of the logical drive whichever you want to completely eliminate, and click on the Delete Partition or else on the Delete Logical Drive.

2. And finally click on the Yes as you are forced to delete the partition or else logical drive. And the partition or the logical drive is completely eliminated from the Hard Disk.

Note:

• When you erase a partition or a logical drive, all the records on that partition or logical drive are erase completely.

• You cannot erase the system partition, boot partition, or a partition that have the active paging (swap) file.

• You cannot erase a comprehensive partition if the extended partition is blank. All logical drives in the extended partition have to be removed before you can erase the extended partition.
