How to Change a HDD
Your HDD is too small for your rations. In preference to purchase a new system, you can change your HDD. Replace a HDD on a PC is simple to do. Follow the given ladder to change a HDD with ease.
Removing a HDD
Place the HDD which is positioned near the abut of the computer.
Follow the ribbon to ensure it is the primary HDD. The primary HDD ribbon connector is usually blue.
Eliminate the HDD starting the assembly.
Disconnect the HDD from the stretch and unplug the power plug from the HDD and catch away.
Installing a New HDD
Find out if you are calculation a main HDD or a back-up HDD.
Make sure the HDD connectors for the jumper setting. Ensure the plastic pin on the end of the HDD is set to "Master" or "CS (cable select)" if you are
installing a main HDD. Make sure the plastic pin on the end of the HDD is put to "Slave" if you are installing a back up HDD. The setting of the new HDD is supposed to be the same as the old HDD.
Connect the ribbon to the matching plug on the HDD.
Format your HDD if it is unfilled. Your fresh HDD is now all set to use.
