Removing a Hard Drive

• Decide if you want to include main hard drive or back up hard drive. Take out all power sources from PC.

• Open the PC case and find hard drive.

• If ribbon connector is blue then it is primary hard drive.

• Take out hard disk from bracket and detach hard drive from ribbon and disconnect power plug from hard drive and remove.

Installing a New Hard Drive

• Check hard drive connectors for jumper setting. Ensure that plastic pin on end of hard drive is set to "Master" or "CS" if you want to install main hard drive. Ensure plastic pin on end of hard drive is set to "Slave" if you are installing back up hard drive. The setting of new hard drive must be similar as old hard drive.

• Connect ribbon to similar plug on hard drive.

• Put hard disk and fix it in bracket with screw.

• Format the tough disk if it is drain now it is set to use.
