Thread: External hard drive problems

I think you must first check in disk management.

Yes I check it in disk management, and it doesn’t show anywhere.

Connect it on different PC and see whether it works or not.

I have tried it on two different PCs but similar problem happens it doesn’t show anywhere in PC.

Then there is only one option to take out hard drive and attach with external connectors or internally. Either enclosure or hard drive itself has gone damage. You can remove enclosure as problem by removing it from path. Then drive has possibly died from overheating.
