Thread: PC stops in memory and hard disk checking

The problem is my PC hangs when I start memory and hard disk checking. So I restart it many times but it gets more time to load OS. So please help me to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

I think your hard disk may be not detected often. So reconnect hard drive appropriately. This might solve your problem.

I suggest you to do memory test to check memory of PC is reacting correctly or not, if it is reacting correctly then it is hard drive problem. For this detach hard drive and do this. If RAM is problem then change RAM. If hard drive is problem then try it by attaching to other port.

If problem starts recently then I suggest you to run system restore wizard. This restores PC settings to earlier date on which PC was working correctly. This may solve the problem if it is not related to hardware parts of PC.
