Default Give me Help with a hard drive

I hooked my iomega drive up to my sister’s Macbook and she gave me some music files. Then when i tried to catch it up to my hp notebook again, it is unrecognizable by the computer excluding for in disk manager. That the drive is working properly. Whenever I hook it up, it makes programs on my laptop not react, and anything to do with the drive will stop responding as well and I have to end the process. Yet soon as I disconnect the drive all is well again.

Return to an earlier checkpoint. Or as well, now update the drivers via the disks for them

Your problem is quite essential as your drive sees a factory Fat volume on it take up the software installer when plug it back into the Vista notebook if not you first turn that off totally. One time you start up without the external drive plugged in the Windows assigned drive letter is forgotten automatically.

Your finest option now is to go back into the DM and allocate a particular drive letter of your own choice like J. K, L higher than the default like F, G, H, I that Windows will use automatically ahead using the software install constantly. Since you are going back and forth from a Mac and Windows pair of machines you won't be able to reformat the drive to NTFS to solve the problem in Vista since Mac will work with Fat.

Then all freeze up and becomes insensitive. Or if I can find to the menu where I click on change drive letter and path, then it won't let me because it says the disk manager wants to be refreshed. When I refresh that, it all freezes up again. I’ve restarted my notebook since this occurrence and it is still having this issue.

As you're not sure if it's incredible to with your windows, try connecting it in on a friend's computer or Laptop.
