Default Help in Hooking up sata drive

I putting in a new graphics card into my computer, power supply, and CD/DVD Drive you need to hook up power to your hard drive So, there is a cord that has three connectors on it saying SATA. 2 of them fit into the 2 Hard drive that I got and now the one on the tip of the cord also says SATA but I'm thinking it goes into the Motherboard or it doesn't actually matter? Everything is hooked up like it was before when I had the old Power Supply in except for this tip of the SATA cord. Please help me in this problem.

The Sata, Sata two, and even a Sata three depend on how many sata drives are held by the power supply . The thin 15pin plugs are individual power feeds for every drive you install. The counting refers to the branches of power flows coming from the supply where you can one or more drives in on the same branch. For a individual only most use the connector nearest to the end.

The other seven pin cable plugs in just next to the power plug to the right when looking at the rear of the drive . These are fairly notched in order to classify the two with the seven pin going from the drive to one of the sata ports on the board.

mention to the diagram in the board's user automatic for locating every connection point in order to avoid confusion The manual will show which is the Number #1 port on the board .
