Thread: Hard drive partly noticed

I reinstall my windows since of a virus that I was ineffective to clean. Now my second drive WD10EADS 1TB green is noticed by my bios observed by my disk management in windows but in my computer if I surf nothing looks. I have a GA-P55-UD5 all driver are presently installed with the most recent bios.

Can someone help me acquire this working. If you require more info simply ask I'll answer fast. I want this computer to run earlier the may five for the folding challenge.

Is it a fresh drive? If so you require initializing it earlier windows can make out it.You can do this in disk management.

Attempt changing the drive letter. Then simply change it back

After some troubleshooting hard drive is now noticed but like a USB key all time I open the computer it take several time to install driver and then open the similar window sit would open if I connect in a USB stick. This is not that bad but simply playing with my patient. Will troubleshoot that after but if you have any idea please tell me!

Is the drive checked as active? i mean if it's assured then it should be so.

Pull power persists on all other drives and simply leave connected the problem drive and restart check if it is the simply drive weather it will be noticed.

I critically don't know why it wasn't bringing and now it is.but well if you check why it is now noticed like a USB stick in this pic tell me XD

Well not actually sure what you mean it doesn't show as a usb check or do you mean because it shows up as active? If this is what you mean i think it has to do with the driver it is using.
