Thread: External hard drive is not recognized

Hello

For some time my PC no longer recognizes my external hard drive. I had already waited a week and it always tried, unfortunately without success. Then I remembered, I could even connect my playstation and sometimes one will see it as easily identified. Of course I have only times the most important things plate-like on the ps3 copied because I'm not even sure if my external out here soon if not already so get started. But on the PC, I still have no chance to access them.

A look that the disk in the disk management yet.
Here's how:

Complete the plate, then open Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management.
As would be your internal drives are listed as "Healthy". And, actually, your external drive and then just as "unpartitioned space" or "Unassigned". Solution would be to format (NOTE: All data will be lost).Could be a solution, but if it is unpartitioned when suddenly (on the PS is still recognized but) I would drive this exchange because it is not to trust everything then.
