Seagate introduces new Free Agent external hard drive from 1.5 Go Flex T Byte. The device has a size of 2.5 "and is able to deliver a high storage capacity and, thanks to USB 3.0 promises an increase in transmission speed.

The new ultra-portable external drive from 1.5 TByte FreeAgent GoFlex is a complete and technically advanced solution that allows you to store, share and manage collections of digital content on a single support, with both Mac and PC platforms, at home and at work.

With 1.5 TByte capacities you can store and carry up to 60 high-definition movies, 750 games, thousands of photos and an incredible amount of music.

All units from 1.5 TByte GoFlex ultra portables come with a cable to interface USB 3.0, which, when connected to a compatible port, you can reach a theoretical transfer speed of up to 10 times higher than the interface USB 2.0.

A connection that uses a USB 3.0 can transfer a file of 25 GB in less than five minutes, instead of the 14 minutes required by traditional USB 2.0 drive.

All units are ultra GoFlex also provided with a new Superspeed USB 3.0 cable, which can also be used with existing USB 2.0 ports.
