Thread: Problem with colored hard disk multimedia

I just bought a hard drive like "ScreenPlay HD Media Player" from the Iomega brand.
I transferred files. AVI on it (they are recognized).

I can watch them on my computer screen and in color.
Unfortunately when I plugged into my TV, the film is in black and white.

I saw the video options of the TV and hard disk, re-read the manual (which they make no mention of this problem in the FAQ) but nothing ... I'm very disappointed ...

Has someone already encountered this problem?

Unfortunately, I have not found a solution to the problem on the net and nobody has responded to my SOS call.
Even the store where I bought it, they do not believe me because my home movies in color spend ...

They told me it was perhaps because of the age of my TV and I just have to buy another ... find cables or transformers "I do not know what it's called (image information)" but when I entered, male and female plugs do not match the outputs and inputs to connect 2 devices.

Almost a year after my purchase, I still watch my movies in black and white on my TV. Too old for this technology but not too old to still operate perfectly ...So I wait for the screen flat "LED" comes at a good price for maybe change TV.

I'm in the same case HD SD media palyer IOMEGA and initialization is done in a random fashion.
Some older model or TV or LCD monitor with S connection record (red sleeve, white, yellow)
This DD is not the True HD is what the problem there may be a subtlety in the setup.
