Thread: Work does not show on external HDD

Hey,

so yesterday I installed a new internal drive and after rebooting could not get my USB drive. In Disk Management, it is also shown me but since then is "not assigned". The data on the disk is really important and therefore I cannot simply reformat the drive.

Now and then he shows me also that he cannot find a driver. So I've deleted the infcache.1 and tries to eliminate driver corpses. Does anyone have some ideas how I can save the data?

I would connect the drive time to another machine and see if it works there. We know, after all, if the problem is on the plate or on your computer.

So I have now connected to my laptop and there is just the same.

He shows me in the disk management but not on the job. I have to put in disk management, the possible partitions. Normally I would say that it is empty but can be not. I have only 15 minutes removed from my PC and then re-plugged range and now the drive suddenly is empty?
