    Default Hard Disk disappears

Hi I have a problem with a second hard drive Maxtor brand 2F030L0, the problem is that the hard drive out of my PC from time to time and I have no access to any file, just reappears restarting the pc.

The hard disk is placed on the secondary IDE connector (on the primary is the local drive C and the recorder) and is made without slave jumpers as well is, I think when you buy the seller who sold me said that he burned the mother but the album was well. I have windows xp.

When the HDD should disappear from So, check if disc THROUGH manager that also disappears.

Proceeds to disconnect and reconnect the data bus of the HDD, and if it is possible to change the data bus.

If the anomaly persists you could check this in another system if the fault persists, the problem is the HDD.

Bought used, and what used generalente no warranty.

Recorder has the HD1 and the IDE 1. The HD as Master and I recorder as slave.

In the IDE2 have that HD, it should be as master that is recognized as the master bios 2, and you have them and if not, you must correct it.

OK I put the jumper to master and it looks like it will have to wait and see as follows. Thanks to everyone for the help.
