Thread: Big sound on hard drive

Hi friends,I noticed that hard drive makes sound like clicking.I have also come across computer getting locked up. Any suggestion on this. What is this issue? Thanks!

Is your hard drive 5 or 6 year old?If it is not then please replace it under warranty period. The issue is due to hard drive. After replacing it your problem will be solved.

Have no clue about this clicking sound then it is internal fault.Well it happens as the time time goes on. Or the reason it is happen may be dust accumulated on hard disk platters and hence the data on the hard disk cannot be read or cannot be written on it there.
