Thread: DVD drive causes reboot on insertion of disc

Hi,
I don't have any clue what wrong with it. The trouble is when I inert a blank DVD my DVD-RAM drive alters to CD-ROM drive. I am not able to solve it and my nero also gives me incorrect reading. I am burning 70MB and it shows 70GB. Thanks!

I think your system require a firmware update. It takes place when we place a particular disk and it is been depicted incorrect to us but this type of errors can be solved with the help of firmware update. Just do a firmware update of your system.
