Thread: How to Build an External Hard Drive

Hi friends,Just admiring,i have external WD 1TB and it has no power switch to turn it off and on.So made a usb cable with a power switch to unplug it .Just turning of with using the remove hard disk will do? Reply!!!

I've had never Safely Remove anything from a USB port had no issues. The only issue with not safely removing a flash drive was the time when the file was "done" but actualy it was not really done and i removed it.
