SCSI hard disk boot

Hello,
While am learning a Server IBM Netfinity 3500 M20 with hard disk (SCSI) 10 GB IDE CONNECTION. I came across a issue to booting CD-ROM for installation Windows Server 2003. The Bios a configuration IDE Primary CD-ROM of IDE Secondary Hard Disk O. The message controller SCSI " Start Unit Request Failed".

SCSI and IDE are two different .Verify your cables and confirm that they are correctly installed.

I checked the cable. The issue is not as of my controller (SCSI) distinguishes the drive but when I place cd-rom bootable windows server 2003 it does not start on the cd-rom.
