The second drive in this test from Sea gate is from the same series as the 160GB version. The 320GB FreeAgent Pro is much bulkier and would certainly require some baggage space to carry around. Supporting the maximum amount of connectivity, the FreeAgent Pro 320GB can be connected to the PC via USB port, Firewire port and eSATA as well. However, it only supports Firewire 400 and not 800. The device comes mounted on a stand that houses all the connectors.
Due to this, the drive cannot be placed vertically on the desk. When the drive is powered on, a tangerine light is visible throughout the border. A power button is situated on the dock. The drive has a hard casing but still be wary of dropping it
anywhere. This can be ideal for home or office users who will be stationing the
drive on their desk for regular backup jobs. On our performance test, the drive was also on par with the Memorex Ultra Travel drive at 38.6 Mbps.
