Default Computer would not "realize" hard disk drive, inquiring for Boot Disk

My former computer is just Bricked and I cannot boot it perfectly. Whenever I test to start up, it exactly goes to CMOS adjustment and says there is no hard disk drive. But I have set up Hard drives perfectly with right connectors. If somehow I have handled to boot into Computer, it says “Drive is not ready. Insert boot disk and press any key to continue”. It is functioning Windows 3.1 and I do not familiar where I can download and make Windows 3.1 bootdisk? Why it cannot realize HDD? There is no compact disc drive?

First of all assure that whether in your BIOS, the hard drive fix to IDE mode or AHCI mode. It looks to me that your former hard disk drive had died. One more thing to say that there is no Windows 3.1 boot disk. AS long as I familiar that in order to set up Windows 3.1, you require to set up MS-DOS 6 then go for Windows 3.1 set up as an MS-DOS application.

I do not imagine that there is trouble with the hard disk drive. The CMOS/BIOS battery must have failed, and due to this entire the parameters may have removed. If so, then you must acquire a latest CMOS batter and do entire the necessary circumstance in the BIOS. If the hard disk drive itself failed then there is no luck in substituting the drive. Too acquiring a fresh HDD, may not be capable to detect and boot in such an former device. Make confirm that the links and power cables are not harmed and acquire at least MS/PC-DOS edition 3.1 or better...

I have seen few former computers that they do not auto notice the hard drives. The need parameters may not be I build in the BIOS and there is no guarantee about the CMOS, since it is so former. Take out the HDD and read the label and utilize that data to configure the BIOS. Make confirm that you are utilizing a compatible HDD.

I had the similar trouble with my former computer similar to unbootable drives, corrupted BIOS names etc. So that I have utilized the dissimilar IDE and/or SATA cables and ports. This was a so good set for me. If this did not set for you, then take that it is obviously the motherboard’s error.

What is your boot order in BIOS circumstances? As long as I familiar that you require to set the Boot choices according to your requires. If you see into the BIOS, you will see Primary Boot Machine, Secondary Boot machine and so on. You must form it perfectly. The Primary Boot Disk ever is hard disk drive and for Secondary you might select either CD drive or the Universal Serial Bus if you have one.
