If you are ready to buy computer first time, you have heard the term "booting a computer" and surprised what it intended. Booting is procedure of starting a PC and loading operating system, which is software that you interface with when you utilize the computer. Instructions

1. Step 1

Get the power button on the front of computer tower and push it. In some cases, like with tiny computers, the power button may be at the back. If there are no problems with computer, this is needed to boot it.

2. Step 2

Press "F8" key when computer is starting up if computer gets to Windows loading screen, but faces a problem. This will appear Advanced Boot Options screen. Choose "Last Known Good Configuration" using arrow keys and press "Enter." This can solve a problem caused by a software installation that is failed.

3. Step 3

Start PC with Windows recovery disk put into to boot from disk instead of hard drive. This will allow you to access recovery options for computer if Windows is unable to start. When you recover computer's operating system, it revert PC to its original factory configuration. Though, all files on computer may be missing.
