You have powered up Kindle, the pencil-thin wireless reading device that has capacity to hold over 1,500 books. But Kindle is not replying. It's probably that you want to restart little reading machine. Resetting Kindle is a simple task and needs following a few easy steps. But it will need your patience for 15 seconds.
Instructions
1. Step 1
Make known yourself with machine. Kindle owner’s gets an online diagram with labeled parts to understand machine's main buttons and functions.
2. Step 2
Detach the Kindle from its power source. Kindle reading devices frequently are powered by a micro-USB cable plugged into machine on one end and a wall power outlet on other end. Pull out micro-USB cord and carry Kindle in your hands.
3. Step 3
Slide the power button to right and hold. This button is placed on top of the Kindle next to headphone jack. The power button on the diagram named "Top View". Put one finger on power button, slide it to right and press it for 15 seconds. Then release it.
